iMovie problem

hi guys! Can anyone help me with Imovie. I wanted to make movie out of my pictures. When I used Ken and burn effects to my preffered frame and timing to my pictures and view it in the preview, it worked just fine and view it as well but after I apply and the computer renders the picture, my revised picture would become blank. What causes this? Am i doing anything wrong?

What the specs of your Mac and version of your iMovie? Did you import your pictures from iPhoto inside iMovie?

I usuall make a new album in iphoto and place all pictures for Ken burn effects. Also make sure you got enough HD space.
