Default How to restore iPhoto and iMovie apps

My friend accidentally delete iPhoto and iMovie apps from her application folder. The icon in the dock displays a question mark when we click on it. How can we restore the apps and keep them running again? TIA

Hopefully she has the original OS X restore discs. Pop them into the Superdrive and run "Install Bundled Software Only". DO NOT RUN "Install OS X and Bundled Software". If you do that, you just lost everything.

So run the install, but set the options to just install just iPhoto & iMovie. Don't run the standard install.

I'm just curious. How do you accidentally delete both of those? Perhaps she didn't delete them, but moved them to another folder?

Thank you rafaelc378.I tried to search both through spotlight but to no avail. She's a switcher, and maybe she thinks that dragging the icon in the desktop from the app folder will create a shortcut.
