entourage -database file size

hi:

i deleted big files emails from my entourage program then i click on icon folder of deleted items and trash them all.

when i click on to my hardisk entourage database, its still the same size before i deleted those emails. why is it so considering i deleted alot of those emails.

When you delete the emails it doesn't get deleted unless you compact it. Try quitting Entourage and press Option and click the Entourage Icon.
