Default do you backup your files?

Having your digital files backup up is a top priority.
You may be spending extra, but having external HDDs
is a great idea for storage.... or lose months of work... yikes!!!!

I use Retrospect for Full BackUp and Archive Backup
using DAT Tapes. (can store up to 70GB per tape)

Backup, before its too late...... :2cents:

I use Dantz Retrospect. (its a backup software)

    For Server types...FULLBACKUP.
Im using an APS AIT DAT Drive.
Sony SDX1 AIT Tape that can store up to 70GB of digital files.
    For finished jobs... ARCHIVE.
Im using HP DDS-3 DAT Drive
HP-DDS-2 DAT Tape hat can store up to 8GB of digital files.

Having an External HD would be a great backup storage.
Burning them to CDs/DVDs would be okay.

Remember, Digital Files are far more important
that is why we should all backup. :2cents:

Thanks for stating the obvious.

I think most of us here back-up all our important files. Everyone does. That's a given. Those who don't and lose their files deserve to lose them. A lot of us are veteran computer users here after all, Pengski. We don't really have to be reminded to backup our files, digital or otherwise. And thanks for giving us a detailed rundown of your backup equipment as well. Would that we should all have what you have.

And by the way, aren't all computer files digital, by their very nature? Do you have analog computer files in your system?

Forgive me for being catty, Pengski, but I've been having a seriously bad week. A lot of us have.
