Hey Aldrich. Sorry so sound like a party pooper but I'm sorry that's piracy and as has many times been mentioned here we must refrain from discussion in this forum.

wait lang. confused ako. if it's not supposed to be downloaded for free shouldn't there be an option button of some sort to pay for that online? i am also against piracy but a lot of companies offer their software as free, too, so that's not piracy if one downloads it. but if they are not offering it for free they should at least make an announcement. minsan kasi nakakalito na rin, eh, and then we unknowingly become pirates. like in aldrich's case. di man lang yata protected yung file against unpaid downloads. at least when i tried to download toast 6 titanium yesterday, even if i didn't see the option "button" to pay, it simply would not download, and i realized that i had to buy it pala. we have to be informed also which ones we can download and which ones we can't, right? just my thoughts on this. peace!:2cents:

Let's see if this can clear your confusion.

Limewire X is free, Limewire PRO is not.

I think what Aldrich means is that he was able to download the PRO version NOT FROM Limewire themselves, but from people unscrupulously sharing the file within the P2P network.

It's the user's responsibility to distinguish legit freeware from cracked commercial software. My advice to go to a site like VersionTracker and see if the application is freeware, shareware or commercial.
