Want to Swap Globe Tattoo wd Smart Br

Hello everyone, am a new comer here. I wonder if there's any disgruntled Smart Bro user who would like to swap with my Globe Tattoo. Just got Tattoo on Friday for use in my Powerbook and it does work well in many places that I tried it. Unfortunately, it can't get any signal inside the apartment where I stay near Welcome Rotonda in QC. Outside the apartment, I get three bars, but none at all in all corners of the apartment.

I don't mind having both Smart Bro and Tattoo, but can't afford that right now. If anyone's interested, please e-mail me at maatop@ymail.com. Thanks.

Question lang: Did you ever have problems at the start of your connection? I recently bought a Globe Tattoo, signal is strong; but, whenever I hit the "CONNECT" button, it hangs, or simply stops there and wouldn't connect!

I have brought it back to the Globe Center where I bought it; it seems to work fine on their service laptop unit (as well as on my Desktop at home); but, when brought back to my Macbook, it just won't coonect (even with strong signals showing!).

Tattoo works well in my PowerBook running on Leopard, but it depends on the place. In one place where I was getting four bars signal, I tried downloading a 9-MB freeware from Apple.com and it was giving me speeds of up to 600 kbps, believe it or not.
