Hi, I recently bought an airport extreme and I plan to add a router as an extender, aside from the APE, which brand ( i.e. belkin, buffalo, tenda, cdr king routers etc.) is compatible? Thanks.

My AEBS doesn't work with the new Bayantel modem. They replaced the old one. Well that was the HUAWEI model. Now ZTE. Sorry but I think I need to change my provider to Sky.

AEBS for me is still the best router.

I am using my AirPort Express at home and quite happy with it. The only problem I have been having is that my non apple gadgets do not/cannot automatically connect to it, even if the gadgets are set at 'remember all wi-fi connections' and 'connect automatically'. Are there settings in the AEx which disables the automatic connectivity of non-apple products? If so, is there a way around this setting? Anyone here who has some info on this?

The gadgets which do not automatically connect are my Blackberry 9700, an Acer Laptop and a Samsung Galay Tab. My Mac, iPhone, iPod and Windows PC connect automatically.

Hi. I do not have experience with an Extreme, but I have spoken to a friend who has, and I just thought of informing you about his opinion. He is not aware of a router that is compatible with the AEBS as a wireless extension. He has only tried Linksys and D-Link and a CD-R King router (I forget the name) only, and none of them worked for him. Just thought you should know.

I have a D-Link dir-655 router. I have 5 computers and 2 ipads that connect to my router. So far everything seems fine with the connection. I was thinking of buying the airport extreme. I have 3 computers that have a windows os installed. I was just thinking that if I bought an airport extreme router that I could have problems connecting my windows based computers on the airport extreme. Is the airport extreme compatible with Windows based computers?

In case somebody brings up these questions:

Will AEBS or TC work with Smart Bro (fixed-wireless)? Yes.

Will AEBS or TC work with Globe WiMax (fixed-wireless)? Yes.

    Default problem printing

Recently bought an AirPort Extreme. I linked my Express to it so i can extend the network and get to use AirPlay, access my external hard drive, and print wirelessly, given the extreme-express combination. Everything works well including AirPlay from my Windows PC and Laptop, except for printing from my Windows PC and laptop. Weird is that i got to print a couple of pages soon after installing my usb printer via Bonjour with AirPort Utility, and couldn't do it anymore soon after that. Has anyone experienced this before? Any solution? Help anyone???

Hi, I just got a 2TB time capsule last month. Replaced my old linksys router with it to use as main router, printer sharing and time machine device. It hasn't been smooth sailing unfortunately.

I'm on PLDT DSL (PPPoe) and the connection has been erratic. There are 4 other PC's connected (2 via ethernet hub & other 2 via wifi) and I notice every time a PC or Mac is turned on the connection goes out and I have to restart the modem, then it works. Also tried starting time capsule and it works again as well. Any tips on why this is happening? How to fix this?
Previously with linksys I rarely have to restart although the connection can be gone for a few sec and come back up. I guess it fixes by itself? Unlike TIme Capsule?

On printer sharing, my MacBook & 1 PC laptop can print no problem but another PC laptop can't. Noticed when checking printer setting/preferences the program just crashes. Both PC's are on Windows 7. Maybe it's one of those unexplainable Windows bugs? :/

    Pls help!
