    Default Sun Plan 1399?

Has anyone tried the Sun broadband plan 1399? Is the minimum speed faster than the regular 799 plan? Is there any way to check?

I'm really curious since they're offering it together with a Lenovo S10 bundle.

Any feedback on Sun's 3G network around V mapa/UST area would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

I believe they capped the max download speed of the plan 799 to a measly 640kbps...

You can search for similar threads in tipidpc.com

Don't know with the plan 1399.. hope they didn't cap that plan too

Yes, it's an additional 500 pesos a month on top of the 1,400 service fee (1,900 total). The customer service agent I talked to said there's a lock in period for 30 months if you get the lenovo S10. It supposedly comes with a 6 cell battery.

I've also read about the 640kbp cap for the plan 799. I was hoping someone knows what the cap was for plan 1399 or someone has tested both plans at the same location.

It might be useless to get the plan 1,400 if you're just gonna get the same speed as someone under plan 799 and end up paying an additional 1,100 pesos for 30 months for the lenovo S10.

I currently have the postpaid plan 799... capped at 80kb/sec when downloading..

sucks because i used to download with 150-200 kb/sec!!

imagine the speed difference... oh well....
