Sun just soft-launched their repackaged "Double Unlimited" promo. Now you get a 2-in-1 SIM for unlimited intra-network calls, and Metro manila landline calls.

Service is also available as P249 addon to existing postpaid subscribers.

So I'm assuming this service is similar to Globe's Duo? Two numbers in one sim? Sounds interesting! I can't seem to find any information in their website though.

Dont they have prepaid version of this? PLDT landline + sucks!

Expect connectivity problems with PLDT, just like Globe Duo.

My postpaid Globe Duo account works fine, but the prepaid kit I got for balikbayan relatives took nearly 2 weeks before it could call PLDT landlines (incoming from PLDT was fine).

According to the Globe CSR I spoke with, hinarang ng PLDT yung ibang Duo numbers. Knowing PLDT and how they do busines (think: The Sopranos), malamang magkakaproblema din sa Sun.

ive been contemplating on availing that as well, dont want the hassle of bringing another phone just for the landline number.

I'm one of their older "Sun Double Unlimited" package, So far so good but I got two sims, however they gave a Samsung Double sim (C5212) .

I have to go to their shop to see if I can upgrade mine to this "one Sim" type!?

Good question, is there a prepaid version? I dont want to sign up for a postpaid line again just to get the landline feature.

Called up the Sun hotline regarding this and one has to go to a Sun shop in order to avail of the service. My lock-up with Globe's duo is expiring very soon and I don't want it anymore. For two consecutive billings, I still get billed for landline calls. Annoying. Besides Sun's service is cheaper. Add-on is PhP 249 as opposed to Globe duo's PhP 399.

Hi. Even if your in metro manila they still charge you for landline calls?
