I can't update my SBW speed today here in the office. I think the IT personnel were successful enough to jam my broadband connection:

So evertime I have successful connection with my SBW, a local server blocks my connection.

I just think it's unfair. My SBW is for personal use on my own mac (which is not issued by the company like the XPSs here..hmph). Sniff

    hello guys..
im a newbie in this forum..

has anyone of you experience an auto-disconnect from your Sun broadband?
like for example, whenever i would try to connect, it got connected then after 3 seconds, it auto disconnects itself.
i even tried reinstalling its drivers, but no luck.
i also called Sun CS, they confirmed there is no network problem in my area (Pandacan, Manila).
haven't tried using another computer though..
anyone got a clue as to what is happening?
is it a hardware-related problem or sun's network?
    thanks in advance

awesome: yes, i've noticed that recently also. don't count on sun's tech support to come up with answers.

    @ncarandang
    so what did you do?
did it just go off after awhile??
it's already a month now since i have the service, but this is just the first time to have that kind of problem.

i just finished talking to someone from SUN CS, he said i am not the only customer having the same issue TODAY..
they are receiving the same complain from others..
well i am hoping he is telling the truth..

It's exactly the same thing happened to me this morning! I tried to call customer service for 90 minutes!! I couldn't reach them!

I did all tricks that I knew, nothing worked, suddenly i decided to see if it gonna work with my cellphone!? guess what? It worked perfectly! But I got worried that maybe something is wrong with my PC then, anyway I put it (the sim) back into modem and dialed, Wow I got connected and no more disconnection since then! It was a weird experience!

try it with any 3G cellphone or other computer, it might work!

I also have the same problem, it would connect for a few seconds, then I get the connection was terminated by the remote site error. This was with the usb modem.

It seems that the problem is at Sun's network.

(My first post since 2006, Yay!)
