    Default SUN Broadband offering...

Anyone here who have tried SUN's broadband offering?

    Do they work with Macs?

Especially in Paranaque area where I live. What is the
    best broadband for Paranaque?

Really appreciate your feedback. I need to replace my
    broadband server...fast. TIA

i want to know, too. actually, i'm using visibility and i'm quite satisfied now. i guess, globe's improved lately. however, i applied for smart's unlimited smart broadband, the one that's offered at PhP 1,500. i intend to use my globe visibility sim on my iphone and use smart for my mobile internet needs. i was told at smart that processing takes 2 weeks. honestly, i don't want to take the risk on sun's broadband wireless connection. i've sun postpaid and it was so unreliable. so much for cheap unlimited calls and texts. my 999 postpaid subscription will end january next year and i do intend to terminate it.

    Re: Sun

I went to SUN's office at Robinson's manila. They let me log my name
in a "logbook" and apparently, somebody will call me to schedule a
visit to my place of residence where I intend to use it most.

So I suppose, it's like the one that Smart is offering, one that they
install some sort of an "antennae" to receive the signal I suppose.
Smart finds my location "out of range"...so my guess is, Sun's
will likely be the same. Location Paranaque, Asiaworld area.

I don't know. Will update you

I’m a Plan 999 2-in-1 deal subscriber. This subscription comes with a Postpaid Plan 350 and a Plan 999 broadband subscription (Unlimited usage at 2Mbps). So far, the broadband service is really good. Here’s a speedtest that I conducted at Starbucks-Rob Galleria:

This bundle is definitely worth it. It does not disappoint! Imagine for P999/month you get unlimited calls, texts and broadband internet service. Wow!

im using the same sbw(sun broadband wireless) plan999 and its working fine with me. I live in ortigas and work in makati and i dont eperience problems so far. My only concern is that sun created a program to set up everything that is only for windows. Since im using a macbook, i set up an internet connection using the PPP and it works ok.

Haha... Nope, I did not post an ad. I’m just a satisfied customer sharing my experience to others who are planning to avail SBW.

FYI: I'm not in the telco industry or have any friends/relatives affiliated with any of the 3 telco giants. I'm just a pépinière for a beauty/cosmetics company... Haha... Just so you know, I’m not getting paid to blog about SBW. Haha…

    Cheers!
