SKY Broadband VS myDSL Business
Just wondering if you guys have any opinions regarding the two?
Which do you think is a better choice?
SKY Broadband Plan 6000 or myDSL Business Plan Entrepreneur?
Planning to use it for our residence but I need the static IP to be used for our CCTV camera for Remote viewing.
Your replies are highly valued.
Thanks!!
fyi: for SkyBroadband to have static IP, you have to add additional PhP300.

You can use DynDNS.org or other similar Dynamic DNS services. You basically get a free subdomain that resolves to your dynamic IP. Most routers even support updating your dynamic IP record. E.g. something.ath.cx will always point to whatever dynamic IP address you get assigned by your provider.

see if your de vice can do the hostname services, if yes, you can get a dynamic IP (public IP should be) if no, ask for a Public Static IP. As I've notice in the PH, most home based internet are being served inside NAT, thus the Private IP. Maybe try business symmetrical lines then. 1 IP pool.

Yup, I think this happens to wireless broadband services such as Smart Bro. A bunch of subscribers connect through a wireless to a router installed in cellsites and share one line.
