PLS HELP! wireless Internet not connecting on my macbook..
Hi Guys,
Was just wondering if you guys could help me. My macbook has been acting strange ever since I installed smart bro (USB, the one that looks like a thumb drive)...smartbro works fine (a bit slow though) but like right now, I'm trying to connect to this wifi network and my airport shows that 'm connected but when I use safari it says im not connected to the net. Tried connecting to this wifi network using my dell laptop and it works fine...in fact, i'm using the wifi network right now on my dell laptop.
Also, for any WoW players out there who use Wow2go, can't also seem to play wow when running WoW2go now...i just bought the full license and even paid for smoothping as well. The trial license for wow2go was working fine, but now with the full license...doesn't work. Of course, I've only tried using WoW2go on smartbro. (USB) I have a feeling smartbro and wow2go are having problems...
Anyway, if you guys have any ideas on solving either one of the two problems I have, hope you can help.
Thanks

This also happens to me in some of my friends place.. I've been wondering why. Been doing everything but nothing happens. But when I connect to my house works just fine..

Hmm. Try this: Open up System Preferences > Network. At the bottom of the list of network connections is a little gear. Click on that, then click "Set Service Order." Make sure that your SmartBro modem is below WiFi.
As for your Wow2Go, it's probably an application configuration issue and not related to your first problem.
