I've tried the smartbro usb modem before the stick and the smart shareIt. I wasn't happy with the usb router and I thought their wifi would be better. Big mistake. Quarter of the way through their lock-in i couldn't wait to terminate the contract but their people kept on emphasizing that it was clearly stated on the paper that i signed that i can not stop because of slow connection. A few months before I had it cut the smartbro was only working in the wee hours of the morning. Their costumer service offers no service and from my residence in qc and office in san juan which are both very near their tower, their company is not the smart choice, what a waste of time and hard earned money.

Can anyone recommend me Sun or Smart around Ortigas, specifically around Emerald avenue? I tried Globe but all I get is an E connection, no 3G.

Hi guys! Im a student who more often surf watch youtube and download torrents for movies and some programs.

what network can you suggest with the most reliable and stable connection that offers 4G signal here in Novaliches (San bartolome/Nagkaisang Nayon area) or even next to 4G

Im a Bayan DSL user and DSL is stable but your stuck at home.
now Im planning to use a MIFI device with Unlisurf plan and I don't know which provider offers a good service with reliable and stable connection in Novaliches.

I've tried Globe prepaid stick (Hwawei E1552) and it gives me a decent download speed (HSDPA) but there are some dead times specially in the midnight as what globe said that their improving there network or repairing something and most likely it sucks as i more often I surf and download at night. but sadly Globe doesn't have 4G signal here in our area

I Haven't Tried Smart and Sun

as Smart offers a (HSPA+) (4G???) in our area but I don't know the real DL/UL speed and it was said that mostly it drops signal.

Sun, most of the post here said that Sun is the winner here in metro manila but some said Sun sucks.

Based on my experience, the answer is no. I was a SBW postpaid subscriber before but due to the better speed of Smart, I decided to switch (I work at Ortigas and live in Makati, Smart is better based on what I have observed). Btw, I think Sun's max dl speed is 3.5mbps while 5mbps for smart (but sometimes, I can get more than 5mbps). Hth

All of the 3 networks suck at torrents. Try to hold on to your DSL. otherwise, you might as well say goodbye to torrents.

For me, I suggest to get an openline mifi device then just get the 3 prepaid broadband sims. you won't get stucked at a plan until you know which service is best in your area (and the other areas you plan to go.)

For device -> I have a ZTE, MF62 i think. Well, I rarely experience satisfactory speed in my areas. I seldom use it now (once a month or less).

My Smart Wifi pocket device really dont get a good signal sa amin sa Bacoor, samantalang may mga SmartBro canopies naman un mga kapitbahay namin, outside naman sometimes its good. Nagiisip tuloy ako kung ipapacut ko na sya kase naka autodebit pa sa cc ko..
