Relax guys, I'll post pics of speedtest results tomorrow or as soon as it gets activated so that you can judge![]()
i like that globe is offering 4g connections already. however, i think they should first improve the coverage of their 3g network before rolling out 4g.. it's hard pag walag back-end to support the front-end..

Actually sir, them rolling hspa+ and soon to be LTE, is actually part of the solution. It will improve current 3G connection on both speed and latencyi like that globe is offering 4g connections already. however, i think they should first improve the coverage of their 3g network before rolling out 4g.. it's hard pag walag back-end to support the front-end..

I don't see anything in globe's site about the capping, where did you see / heard that capping from?
I saw the advertisement on TV. It said "No Capping", which is good.
However, it's an up to 10 mbps speed. I'd be happy with a constant 5 mbps than erratic up to speed.

was subscribed to globe 3mbs plan for three years, and i also use tattoo whenever i'm out, and i can attest that they really cap the connection to 1gb/800mb per day, which is why i switched to pldt mydsl.
but if they explicitly mentioned in the ads that this stick doesn't have capping, then its great, just a bit unfair to their broadband subscribers who also pays 2k+ a month.

If you use the supersurf promo on your tattoo, then definitely there is a cap. Supersurf 50 and 225 users have daily limits. But those on postpaid tattoo subscription and those on time-based browsing (pay per use basis at P5 for 15 minutes) do not have a cap.
Two things is this compatible with our macs. Can we also use it with our USB router or the myfi device?

Sorry to hear your predicament. I am a globe dsl 3mbps subscriber as well, And I use globe tatoo as well when I'm mobile (using my postpaid) I certainly and easily go over 1gb worth of download a day, since 1 episide of game of thrones is above 1gig already, and I download multiple 720p episodes as well.
I download movies that are 6gb++ in filesize, and Globe never throttled my speed. I even download large files using globe tatoo, and get a steady 2mbps stream. I do get sluggish connection on tatoo sometimes, but I just change location and look for a better spot, and everything is good.
