Globe DSL capping P2P speed?

i can confirm this and more people from here, my regular torrent speed range from 140-180KB/s sometimes higher but yesterday until now max is at 20KB/s either private/public tracker..

regular download like updates, apps, iTunes podcast etc are on normal speed.

Im hoping that this is just temporary but if not im going back to PLDT or might try Sky, my 720P mkv's will hold for now

sabi na nga ba e. i was also wondering why lately i'm only getting a maximum of 50kbps. isn't there anything we can do about this.

so thats why. I thought there was something wrong with my speed so I did a restart on my computer and modem but still the same. downloading has been really slow since thursday.

!@#$!$^!@$%!@^%!@$%!@% 60kb downloads somehow tolerable .. but even streaming stuff like TMZ sooo slooooooo.... bwisit.. eto na... they have the worst 3G network.. now DSL getting suckier and suckier ... bwisit haha

just called globe ... and apparently there really is a problem (the automated thingy said so.. after 15 mins of waiting for a real person i gave up), so..... i guess ok lang ung pag cap... for now.... globe DSL has been good to us... hope they dont let us down hahaha

same here, been very happy w/ globe for 2+ years na (from PLDT) speed is very consistent on my end n a few downs but tolerable, sana lang it's just temporary coz if not then no choice but to switch.

but looking a the tpc thread, my guess is this is just a temporary since almost all subscribers all over the country are experiencing downtimes not just capped p2p speeds. im hoping for the best for us hehe.

Oh darn! Same here. Terrible speed lately from Globe. Can we like call or make a formal complaint as to why they are capping their speed? I mean, we're being shortchanged in our face assuming that their actions "maliciously motivated".
