Give Up Tomorrow, the award-winning documentary on the life of the falsely-accused Paco Larrañaga, will be showing at Cinemalaya on the coming two Sundays. From the reviews I have read, it is a must see, even if just for its artistic value.

However, more than that, we need to raise awareness of the sensational case that has changed the life of Paco. It is Cebu's version of the Vizconde Massacre with Paco being the equivalent of Hubert Webb. I personally know that Paco is innocent because I was on the same early morning flight as him to Cebu on that same day the gruesome Chiong rape-murder took place.

Paco needs justice, and this docu is one step in trying to achieve that.

I was likewise able to watch this yesterday afternoon, and I found it to be an extremely moving, if sad, commentary on the state of the country's criminal justice system.

A private screening would be a boon given the need to advance the cause of change. BTW, props to you for raising a good question to cap the Q&A session yesterday.

Count me in sir elbert, I missed this film at recently concluded festival because it overlaps the time it was been shown with festival in competitions,Films that I have to see it 1st.
