what do you mean direct? no configuration needed. just create a lan game on your mac and the pc will detect a local server then they can join the game.

I think bigfellow is using a crosscable. If that is the case, I think you'll need to set your network config to static IP? and then have the PC detect it.

My wife, my friend and I used to meet up and play Warcraft III on our PowerBooks whenever and wherever we wanted ... all one of us had to do was create an ad hoc network from his/her AirPort card and the rest of us would connect to it. We played at Resto 12, we played at Starbucks, we played in my living room...

    Loads of (wireless) fun.

Hey bigfellow. Tama yung sabi ni Kenneth you must set it up in such a way na magkita yung Mac and PC mo. At least they can see each other via a ping or better yet, ma-open mo yung folder ng PC from your mac. BTW, dapat sigurado ka na-ok yung cross connect cable mo with the Ethernet send and receive criss-crossed para gumana sya.

The next trick is to make sure that the Warcraft version is the SAME in the Mac and PC. I think the lower right portion of the first screen upon loading Warcraft will show you the version number. Sa office namin dati I maintain 2 versions on my Mac, the old and original version to play with officemates. The latest and upgraded version to play in battle.net.

If both these things are ok then there should be no reason why you can not play and kick the PCs ass
