If your iMac is the older version with a mini-DVI port, then you must use this mini-DVI to HDMI (Female) adapter cable

For audio, connect the usual 3.5mm baby-plugged cable from the Audio Out of the iMac to the Audio In of the LG (beside the RGB IN (PC) port.

I'm not sure if your TV can output subw to your iSub. I don't see any Pre-Out or SubW-Out port at the back of the LG.

BTW: Before you start ordering these adapters from Amazon, check first with CDR-King or Electronics Boutique (in most malls). You'll be surprised at the stuff they have lying around. Cheap too (but works well).
ohh... my iMac has mini DVI ooutput sir, do i need to buy this two cable adapter? or any of the two?
also my mac is too far from my LCDTV, estimated distance is 4-5 feet... do i need another cable to connect between adapters?

back of my mac like this...

You need the mini-DVI adapter only. You can buy the long HDMI cable (3 meters I think). That should be long enough.

I purchased the Gift Guide 2010 Magazine, published by HWM from National Bookstore and included in their 32" LCD List is the JVC LT-32EX19.

The text says: "To ease your transition from standard definition to high definition viewing, the LT-32EX19 features a Clear HD Mode which provides a clearer output for SD-format broadcasts and older video content."...

I am planning to purchase an LCD TV for my parents who lives in the province and they spend most of the time watching cable tv (not digital) and they do not rave over DVDs or Blu-rays.

Do you have better suggestions than this one. My parents are technically-challenged and wont care on the specifics, they just want crisp cable tv viewing thru their analog cable provider.

I viewed a Samsung 32B530 and LG LH32YR side-by-side at the mall and noticed a significant difference in the PQ and brigthness of the two with Samsung way brighter and clearer. I even asked the salesman to increase the brightness of LG but still not as bright as the Samsung. Has anyone noticed the same thing? Or there was just a problem with that unit. I was about to order it based on its specs but held on because of what i saw.
