    iPhoto & Photo Booth automatically starts when I turn on my Mac. What to do?

    Go to System Preferences > Accounts > Login Items
    Remove those applications in the selection you don't want to launch automatically during start up..
    GO BACK TO WHAT YOU KNOW..

    another way is to right click on the icon at the dock, then under options, tick "open at login"
