    Default ITunes sync question

I have an iPad running 4.2 and iTunes 10.1

On my iPad I can make playlists, delete songs etc...

What happens if I delete a particular song in iTunes (on my computer), would it automatically delete it on my iPad once i sync or does the contents in the iPad remain the same?

Or what if I delete a song in my iPad, does it automatically delete that song in my iTunes library once I sync it to my computer?

    Thanks.

it depends, if you tick manually manage your music on itunes, the deleted song/s from your computer will not affect the sync music on your ipad and vice versa.

When you insert your iPad in iTunes click on you iPad icon, scroll down you will see 4 check boxes. If the "automatically sync" is checked, then when you delete a song in your iTunes and you sync your iPod it will also erase the same songs in your iPad as the two will be exact copies of each other. If you do not want it this way, check the " manually manage " box so that the two will independently manage their files.

Btw, you can not delete songs on the iPad...sa iTunes Lang sa pc mo.

    ThAnks!

To quobetah, on 4.2 you can delete songs on your iPad. You can even delete the entire playlist. Ü

Assuming that automatically sync is ticked, What if my friend would accidentally delete a song on my iPad, what will happen after syncing? Would iTunes (on my computer) would just add the deleted song again to the iPad or would iPad would delete the same song to my iTunes (on computer)
