iPad & Wired LAN?
So now, I am in a hotel room somewhere in China. The hotel provides free internet using wired LAN. If I am using an iPad, how do I get internet connection? What accessories do I need? Is it even possible?

Set up a wireless network using a macbook, if you have one.
I don't know yet if there's an iPad accessory for wired LAN.

Since you're in an Apple-centric forum, i suggest getting the AirPort Express Base Station.

I have an ultimate all-in-one product called iMac, a magical and revolutionary product called an iPad and a phone that is vivid, fast, slim, the Galaxy S2.

Technically there's no way, but there's a solution. for an internet connection to be established, just like what they said, Airport express is the way.

Re: iPad & Wired LAN?
AFAIK, you need the AirPort Utility on Mac OS to initially configure the AirPort Express. This is what I did.
