iPad and Globe Telecom

Its official and iPad will be available to the Philippines well of course, by its official carrier here, Globe Telecom.

I've just checked Globe's website and no official page for iPad, but the announcement was from official Facebook page of Globe.

Lets wait for upcoming plans.

IMO, iPad + Plan, thats how Globe do business here. Just like iPhone.

but isn't the ipads openline? also what about wifi only ipads?

i'm guessing they're only going to offer the plans (i hope so)

By the post it self "Globe Telecom today announced it will offer dedicated data plans for ipad with Wi-Fi +3g"

They can't lock it, but i think they'll sell it slightly subsidized.

they did not mention the iPad will be available already, what they announced is their dedicated data plans for the iPad wifi+3G, which was already in their brochure for 3 weeks now (they just announced it today in FB)
