Default Do you browse in Landscape or Portrait mode ?

When you're browsing the web on your iPad, do you usually hold it in Landscape (short and wide) or Portrait (thin and tall) mode ?

Surfing in landscape mode is more convenient for me.

landscape---- the font is larger. And I don't like the idea of zooming in just to read which is the case in portrait mode.

Usually depends on what I'm surfing, I'd say 50/50 most of the time.

    I'm sorry but...what's the difference?

Unless someone tells me you save more battery using this mode or that more women will fall in love with you if you use that mode, etc...

    To each his/her own!

Yup, it's a matter of preference, but no need for the sarcastic comments. You may not attract more women, but at least it would be helpful for developers to know and ensure that their apps and websites should be optimized in the landscape mode knowing that majority of users prefer landscape over portrait.

Back on topic, I too prefer landscape browsing that I even lock the rotation screen most of the time.

too much coffee perhaps this morning...

the difference is the fact that apps and the overall surfing experience may differ in the way one sees it appropriate to their needs...

you do not have to tell us if it saves the battery or makes women swoon over based on such choices...that is just too lame and irrelevant
