Hi, guys/gals first time posting on here though I'm been lurking for sometime now. I just have a quick question and I thought you guys would be best to answer.

I will be traveling back to manila soon and I need to be able to use my iphone 4s 5.1. Now att are starting to unlock iphones but mine is still un-eligible because Im currently under contract. I also know that there is no jailbreak option yet for those of us who mistakenly upgrade to 5.1.

My question is, is there a way for me to use my iphone while in the country? I've seen products from http://applenberry.com/store/gevey-sim and was wondering if there were similar solution being offered in manila or are there any other ways of being able to unlock my phone. I know there are plenty of folks in the greenhills area that do it, but are they able to do it with a 5.1 firmware.

Do you have the option of pre-termination or ending your contract early? If there is, are there any penalties or charges to be paid. If the answer is yes to both questions and assuming penalties are not too much, why not avail of it. Just my two cents worth.
