What is the APN for sun prepaid?
i can send mms but cannot use the web.

my iphone 3gs is on sun and my apn is blank... i have no problem connecting.

when i put globe, it automatically inputs "internet.globe.com.ph"

when i insert smart sim, it becomes blank but i can still connect

i was able to try the tethering,
and sun cellular 3g speed is amazing.
almost 1.5mbps here in QC.

Just wondering if you could possibly put the Sun Broadband Sim (the one inside the Huawei Modem) and insert the sim in our iphones. Would it work? What do i have to do (settings)

Yes, possible, I inserted by Sun Broadband Sim in my wife's iphone 3G and she does not want to remove it anymore since she has 24/7 internet connection around metro manila

I did not modify any settings, as long as it gets 3G or Edge signal, you will have internet on your iphone

Great! thanks m_ke2 for the quick response. ill try it out later when i reach home. Btw, you mentioned no more change in settings, so i assume its just Plug(insert) and Play and no more APN editing as mentioned in this thread.

just plug the sim...

when you plug sun sim, the apn will be automatically blank (on my case) and good to surf.

apn should be blank or fbband or minternet... but make it blank.

btw, sun broadband/internet is good for those 3g/s only, as sun's edge is very slow.

Just so you guys know, the APN for postpaid SBW is fbband and for prepaid it's minternet.

rafael... oh, i didnt know that..

eversince, their csr keeps saying use minternet for phones and fbband/mbband for those sbw...

on my iphone, its blank.... on my mbp/imac and e220 i use fbband (since it needs to input something in the setting) i believe antz88c had blank on his apn in his macbookpro
