Depending on the size of your bank account or how much money you are willing to burn.

As for me, I'm still happy with my phone anyway.

    iPod Touch

IP4 if you like an all-in-one device with a decent camera... if you're after music and apps only then touch will do - it also has a larger storage capacity (64GB max) compared to IP4's 32GB max if this will help you decide...

You can't decide because you don't know what you want/need. If that is the case, I suggest the ipod Touch since it is a lot cheaper. It will give you a feel on what the iPhone feels like. If you like it, sell the touch and get the iPhone 4.

Or you can figure out if you need an all around phone or just a media player/internet device. Figure that out now and it will save you the hassle.

    iPod Touch and not iTouch.

iTouch sounds like a NSFW gadget.
