Should I get the IPAD?
I wanna ask if I have an Ebook reader Sony PRS 600!
Should I get an IPAD?
I like the PRS 600 but its kinda slow when flipping into pages.
I do like the IPAD but its a tad bit expensive!
And I need the Java Applet. Cause I need to view my stocks on citiseconline.
Will citiseconline be viewable in IPAD?
Can you guys recommend an online broker that works with the IPAD or iphone?

You have one already or you're asking which one between the PRS600 and the iPad to buy?

Since its not really an issue of money, I'd say yes. Its a cute toy.

Just wait for the next gen release amigo. You might be in for a surprise or two if you decide to not pull the trigger just for a wee bit longer....

Re: Should I get the IPAD?
Right now the iPad is more of an expensive toy, with a bit of netbook functionality. In time im sure the netbook potential would come into fruitition.

If you need convincing, and started a thread about it, you probably shouldn't get one. However, the best thing to do would be to experience on hands on, that way, you can see for yourself what will work and what won't.

I couldn't agree more. Go for the netbook. You must compare their functionalities.

Re: Should I get the IPAD?
If your gonna ask this question, then you probably just trying to justify the purchase. Quoting Chris Hardwick of AOTS (Gadget Pron), if your asking what is the use of an iPad its not for you...
But to be constructive about it, I had the privilege of owning the PRS-505, Kindle 2 and now the iPad. I am a casual reader and I always need to have a book near me just in case there's some idle time I need to be entertained. This is what I can say about the three (3) device:
PRS-505 = easiest to put content into since its just a removable disk (osx/win). content needs to be in a certain formatting (eg. paper size) to be able to view properly. A4/Short/Legal PDF files are a pain to read. Stick to LRF/ePub (w/new firmware).
Kindle 2 = proprietary content. its not easy to put personal content unless you go the amazon conversion route. my wife now happily uses it for her reading entertainment. it beats buying a new book on a weekly basis (cheaper)
iPad = I am now bringing a bag anywhere I go because of this gadget. It gives you the power to do more than just reading ebooks. I like that you can do some actual work wherever you are. If you do choose an iPad, by all means get the 3G version and you won't regret it. In my case, the WIFI for me is too limiting.
Expect for the very best but always plan for the worst and be prepared to get the surprise of your life...
