I'm thinking about sending my old ipad 2 to the philippines to my mom. i've checked out the new ipad at bestbuy and at the apple store. there is a distinct difference in graphic resolution. but for me that's not really important. sending my ipad to my mom would save me some money for long distance calls since we can just do facetime or skype. Are there any issues on the Ipad 3 or the new Ipad?

Hi sir, i have a first gen, second gen and now the new iPad, main difference as you've mentioned graphics and the processing speed due to its A5x chip, second would be battery life, although you need to charge the new iPad longer but the trade-off is you get a longer battery life, i noticed a bit of heating in the back part of the new iPad after an hour of continuous use, but so far no issues with mine.

Is there a way to get a supersurf or powersurf promo on a globe prepaid sim without having to take out the sim card from the ipad? it's getting very tedious, having to take out the sim and inserting it in my iphone just to be able to text and avail a promo. Then when i put the sim back in the ipad, i have to change the apn settings over and over again. ack!

Thanks for letting me know. I actually wanted to save on long distance phone bills my just using skype or facetime. Imessaging for texting. That's why I plan to send her my old ipad2. Anyway ipon muna for a new one

hi guys, i just owned a new ipad 3 a few day ago and everything works fne expect for the wifi i dont know if its a problem or not, but when i watch some videos on youtube some loads so fast and some takes some time like 3-4 mins to completely buff the video. Can someone give me an idea if its ok or i have to go to powermac center to have it replace.

some add ons, my internet speed is 1.5mbps by pldt when i check it in my ipad using speed test it is around 0.75mpbs and usually when i use my phone and my laptop the videos on youtube load so fast it does buff anymore... I hope someone responds to my question.. thanks
