Question iPhone 4 by Globe (merged)

Any news about Globe's release of the new iPhone 4? With them releasing micro-SIMs for iPads, will they convert our existing SIMs for postpaid users to micro-SIMs or will they just offer us to get a new iPhone 4 postpaid plan? How about for prepaid micro-SIMs?

i have a contact with with one of the local suppliers of apple products. yesterday afternoon globe had a meeting with them regarding some product alignments. i have no idea what that means and im still waiting for feedback regarding the meeting. im assuming it could be about the iphone 4 but most likely it will be about the ipad with 3g. ill let you know as soon as i find out for sure what it was. peace!

I'm also interested to find out when globe will release micro sim for iphone 4. I'm expecting to get my phone next month and I'm wondering how I can use it with my existing globe iphone plan.

i can't believe Globe is still selling the the iphone 3G about 39K, while you can avail the 8gig version in the US for only $99.00, that's only close to 5k in our currency (http://www.apple.com/iphone/compare-iphones/). if the iphone 4 is launched by Globe, i wonder how will they drop the price of the previous model?

isn't the $99 price tag bundled with a 2-year AT&T plan? the 39k 3GS price of Globe is probably a prepaid kit.

From what I know, the $99 price is for the unit only without a plan.

I'm pretty sure Globe will still be the carrier for the new iPhone 4. If other networks will sell them, I'm sure their marketing will be aggressive.

A quick check at store.apple.com clearly shows you can only get the $99 iPhone with a 2 year plan.

by looking at the carrier bundle folders (that contains the APN, MMS, Voicemail settings of the official carriers) inside the iOS4 of my 3GS, it seems only Globe will still be the official carrier of the iPhone4 here

I guess so, since SMART logo should have been Smart and SUN should have been Sun + their network config should pop up when their sim is inserted,
