iPad 3G Can't Register Globe Micro Sim Prepaid

Anyone knows where to buy smart micro sim? Been to 3 Smart Centers in my area all of them said it's out stock.

Try the cellphone stalls in VMall (not the tiangge). I got mine there for 40 pesos.

Just bought 3 microsims yesterday at Globe UP technohub. They seemed to have more.

The Globe Services app works intermittently when checking balances and surf status subscriptions. But everytime I would sign up to a surf package, it never fails. This app is the only thing that's keeping me from jumping to Smart since I can sign up to Globe's surf packages using the app without having to take out the sim, insert it to a phone and send a text message to Globe to sign up (I don't have an iPhone 4 or 4s).

If Smart comes up with a similar or better solution, I wouldn't hesitate to switch.

Anybody tried using this lately? Still receiving the error message when registering my sim..funny thing is when it was on my ipad1, i could use the globe app. When i tried on the ipad2, cant get it going using the same sim.
Any thoughts out there???

One technique I do whenever I get error either balance or subscription is after I fix my settings 3G and Data, I open safari - somehow safari prompts an IP address to be generated to initiate a connection. If you go directly to "Globe Services" (app), the error seems to be because there is no IP generated yet. HTH
