Question, I backed up my iPad 2 prior submitting it for unit replacement. Now that I have got my iPad back, I can't seem to do a restore for my iPad. Whenever I hit restore, it doesn't allow me what backup to choose.

Hold shift while clicking restore.

Mine have a faint line that runs across lengthwise on the upper portion of the screen. I just recently noticed it since it is a hairline. Is it eligible for a replacement from apple?

Pardon me if this were previously discussed.. I dropped my ipad2 and the glass was broken. I called powermac to inquire how much it will cost to replace it but they told me it's irreplaceable I just want to ask fellow members who had this situation and how did u get through it.. I heard that, they might replace the unit if it's still under warranty. I got mine locally with NTC sticker on the box. I hope it's possible.

for me (primary usage)

ipad = reading books, browsing internet, playing games

iphone = calling, texting

For everyone:
What if you have an Apple Care? Will stores accept the broken unit send to Apple SG/HK/CN for replacement of the front glass? With no questions asked?

Akita, weigh in the options if it's much cheaper for the replacement Glass or buying an apple care then having it replaced..
