I actually did not expect Globe to have released the microsim so soon. I'm now thinking of selling my iPad for the 3G model. Huhu!

Apple has not appointed Globe (yet) as an iPad reseller/dealer. In fact, it has not informed any Apple reseller the same.

I suspect that the iPad plan is purely in anticipation of the local release, whether or not they will be selling the product. Essentially, it's nothing more than a data-only plan with microSIM.
