WalletWhiz for iPhone & iPod Touch
Hi fellow PhilMuggers! My app WalletWhiz is finally available in the App Store. It's $0.99 and is accessible through the following link: http://itunes.com/apps/walletwhiz ü
WalletWhiz is your personal tool for tracking your spending habits against a budget. It packs only the essential features needed to maintain a healthy budget. It also includes password protection and support for the iPhone's built-in currencies. With WalletWhiz, you will be able to:
- Track your expenses and earnings through the regular Categories view, or the unique Calendar view.
- Maintain Categories for your expenses and earnings, and track them using a budget for weekly or monthly Periods.
- Export transactions to CSV format so you can easily view the data in a spreadsheet or your financial application of choice.
With WalletWhiz, your budget is in your hands.

This is good news filjedi. Congratulations! How would you compare it to cashflow? I'm currently using that one now and its been good so far...

Thanks for asking Neil! I guess the most basic difference between WalletWhiz & CashFlow is the interface. WalletWhiz gives you 2 ways to view your transactions (Calendar & Category), so it might be easier to keep track of your expenses/income on a weekly or monthly basis. CashFlow is similar to the Categories view of WalletWhiz, though based on screenshots, CashFlow doesn't include categories, just transactions. Of course, if you don't need categories, you can just create 1 "Default" Category with WalletWhiz, and all your transactions will be classified under that category.
Please let me know if you have more questions. Thanks!

Pretty useful app. I was looking for a 15-day budget cycle though, since I do my finances that way. ;-) I'm looking forward to using this pretty often.
