yeah, i saw the live demo this morning in SFO, although the "chopper" they used was more saucer-like and had a built-in gyro that keeps the chopper auto-balanced.

the demo reminded me of an idea i suggested previously: that apple pairs the ipad/iphone/ipod touch as a controller for apps/games running on apple tv/macs.

The Parrot AR was actually intro'd in CES but it looks like it's ready to be the next big boy toy. It's amazing how much stuff we only used to see in movies can now be bought in stores. Just don't let it get out of range of you wifi or your toy will go bye-bye.
