Sync Inquiry about purchased apps from the App Store
I have a dilemma or fear of syncing my iPhone (Apps).
I have reformatted my OS and I was not able to save back-up on my iTunes. I was able to purchase some apps (before the reformat) from the App Store and have it synced with my iPhone. My problem right now is that the apps that I purchase are no longer in my iTunes (coz I reformatted my OS) and I still have it in my iPhone and I am afraid that if I'm going to sync my iPhone and iTunes (Application Tab) the apps that I purchased (which is in my iPhone) will be deleted once I sync it.
Is there any useful information about this one?
I do not have problem syncing my Address Book and Contacts between my iPhone and iTunes because they update each other seamlessly. (not sure if the same is true with purchased Apps)

Re: Sync Inquiry about purchased apps from the App Store
All purchased apps in the App Store is linked to your Apple Id. I would think your first sync with iTunes as long as you set up your iTunes account - prior to syncing your iPhone - would just copy your apps to your library. Otherwise you don't have to worry. Just redownload the apps ('buy' it again) and you won't be charged.
Note: If however an app you had before has been pulled out from the AppStore then you can't download it anymore.

iTunes should be able to handle this. Encountered the same problem, where I purchased app through my phone's App Store. When I connected by phone to my Mac, iTunes displayed a prompt saying "I have apps in my phone which are not in my iTunes. Do you want to transfer to iTunes or not".

Upon syncing, iTunes would prompt you that you have purchased items in your iPhone (your Apps, in this case). It will then ask you if you want to transfer them. Click Yes.
In the event some of your apps end up missing, you may re-download them from the iTunes App Store. You won't be charged (unlike music and movies).
