Since I place a Globe sim, now I have to activate it and at least use it for SMS.

Re: SMS app for iPad No, there is no available app for iPad that is similar or the same as the native SMS app on the iPhone that uses your sim's native sms function. The suggestions above need you to connect to the internet/WIFI first prior to sending/receiving text/SMS.

SMS app for iPad Textfree user here.. So far so good. I use a US account when i downloaded it. Will it matter? Maybe that's why it rejects the zip code i encode and can't use a number that is for local use.

Re: SMS app for iPad I've download heywire which offer free txt to my surprise i was charged 1 pesos on my bank account.. Now i've totally removed heywire on my ipad..
