Remote for iTunes automatically turns on my PC

after the latest update of Apple's Remote App for the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, i can actually use the app to turn on my PC that is completely shutdown. i dont know how it works, but ive tried it on the iPad, the iPhone and the iPod touch.

this would have been a nifty add on to this already excellent app, but the problem is, it does turn on my PC, but it does not launch iTunes

anybody else experiencing this on their mac?
