Moving iPhone/iTouch/iPad App to external HD

Hi anyone knows how to move the apps from my Computer hard drive to an external hard drive.

Currently my music library is located in an External Hard Drive to save space. But now I already have almost 9.6 GB of Apps in my computer and I want them to be also move to an external drive to free space.

Tried the normal iTunes way by consolidating the libraries so far music, video and podcast are located in my external drive and information connected to that. But applications I can't seem to move it anyone knows how to do it?

have you tried diskaid? not sure if this works for you, but it gives you full access to your device's files.
