Default MERGED: iOS 4 Discussions Here:

Our much awaited iPhone OS 4.0 is now renamed iOS 4 to reflect the broad number of devices it supports.

iOS 4 is set to be released to iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPod touch 2G and 3G on June 21st. Sadly, they 1st generation devices of iPhone and iPod touch are no longer supported come this update. It will also come in default to iPhone 4, the latest generation iPhone from Apple.

What killer feature are you waiting for?

I am trying it now on my iPhone 3G (Gold Master) and it is snappy! But of course, if I add more apps and songs in there, that will be another story.

Would you guys take the plunge now or wait it our on the 21st?

Gold Master Candidate does not require UDID registration in Apple's developers program. You will just need the iTunes 9.2 beta.

I like to try the Nike+ instant uploading after a run (no need to connect and sync to iTunes to upload recent activities). Eager to test this new feature.

I didn't know there was this new feature... how'd do you set it up? I'd like to try it tomorrow on my run...

Hi ice_man, I read somewhere (a month ago) that this feature will be part of the iOS 4 unfortunately not. Tried it yesterday and hereby confirm that you still need iTunes to sync to upload your runs.

I've also been using iOS 4 since it became available. I love the multitasking and folders. I also love the smaller features like threaded email, birthday calendars, and spell checker.

When running an app, you can access the 4 icons docked at the base of the screen by pushing the home button twice.
