About LinkBacksI have my iphone4 and downloaded apps but when error appears when i transfer these apps to iphone. BUt when i sync them with ipod touch it was successful. What might be the problem?
Help anyone... please please.. thanks!

Re: Iphone4 apps can't install from itunes If all your apps were directly downloaded from iTunes, look at the requirements of the app. Some have a minimum iOS version needed while some apps are for iPad only. If it was downloaded outside iTunes, that is a topic not appropriate for this forum.

Re: Iphone4 apps can't install from itunes That is a possibility but I just synced my wife's new iPhone 4 and used her 3GS backup and it went smoothly. Anyway, I tunes will tell you that the applications is not compatible. My suggestion is to update both iTunes and iPhone.

Re: Iphone4 apps can't install from itunes Normally new iOSs are backwards compatible with apps made for previous iOSs. I doubt that an old app won't be restored because of a new iOS. There are corrupt files on your iPhone and iTunes is having problems with them.
The normal procedure is to do a restore. But don't do it unless you know what you are doing. It can lock a phone, remove Jailbreak, or worse brick it.Last edited by Mad Mac; 09-15-2010 at 02:53 PM.
