iBooks FREE BOOKS LIST

Please limit this thread to ONLY free books in the iBooks app.

In iBooks type:

PROJECT GUTENBERG

Apple has recently added over 30000 books from the Project Guttenerg library all as 100% FREE !

These include
Complete works of PLATO, Edgae Allen Poe, Mark Twain, OTHELLO, Websters dictionairy, Encyclopedias etc...

ALL FREE !

Please add any free titles also so we can expand our libraries po. I really would like to find NEW titles that are free and currently after just several minutes of use I dont see any way to sort by FREE TITLES like iTunes Appstore can...

My problem is that I know MANY free books are in iBooks, but how do we find only the free books?

I would like to sort by price, but currently it looks impossible. If anyone knows how to find or sort by price - Please inform us.

use the category listing, it's sorted by price for paid books on one side, and all the free books are on the other side...

Nice ! NOW I SEE !

On the iPhone version im using I had to completely scroll down past the paid listings... and a few screens down I saw TOP FREE!

1. Hit CHARTS (at bottom of screen)
2. hit TOP CHARTS (top menu button)
3. Scroll down past the top 10 paid... to see the FREE section

You can browse 10 at a time...

Now if only we can use iTunes to sort by FREE then type our subjects to see ONLY free titles... I would pay for that FREE option

I think currently you have to search all 30000 + free titles one by one until you find it...

Im hoping this thread we can share some of our gems here.

I did locate a number of apps that help you find free and discounted iBooks/apps so Apple must open their database/index to developers at least partially...

Sounds like a good job for a programmer to write a new iBooks app....
