Default iBook PDF file size limit?

    Good day, guys!

First of all, if in any case my topic coincides with anyone already, may I ask the Mods to just merge this one. I've tried searching over the net and in the forums but I can't find anyone having the same problem.

I don't know if this is an isolated case but I can't open a particular PDF file using the iBooks app in my iPod Touch. I'm currently on iOS 5, 4th Gen iPod Touch. The size of the PDF is around 700mb++. Whenever I tried opening the said PDF, an error box pops out stating that it's either the wrong file type or the file is invalid.

I have a PDF with a size of 600mb++ and it's opening perfectly in iBooks, that's why I'm boggled why the 700mb++ file won't open. I've already tried opening the said file to a PDF reader which I found at the app store (PDF Reader Lite) and it opened. I already have done un-syncing and syncing it but to no avail.

As the title says, is there a size limit of files particularly a PDF file, which we can upload to iBooks? Or can anyone recommend a better alternative which has the same interface (showing the covers of the PDF/Books).

    Thanks in advance!
