Help! Combining paid apps from 2 itunes accounts
hi!
i need help. i previously had a pc where i got some paid apps for my ipod touch using my itunes PH account. unfortunately, it crashed. i am now using a mac and have a new itunes US account. i have downloaded some apps using the new account but when i try to sync, i can only sync the apps from one account.
is there a way to combine the paid apps from both accounts so that i can sync it to my ipod touch?
thanks in advance

Authorize your iTunes with your previous account.

Try this: login to the account you want to download the apps from (I'm assuming it's the PH one because that's the one with paid apps) then click Store on the menu bar and Check for available downloads.

You have to download the apps again. Then you'll get a message that you've already purchased it but you can still download without paying again.

Without using 3rd party utilities you can only combine content through iTunes. If you pc iTunes library is gone, you cannot transfer your content to the new iTunes account. To use your iPod as the source of content, you must use 3rd party utilities like Senuti.

If I read correctly, it's not content that the threadstarter is trying to get but the applications from the PH iTunes account. In that case, I agree with rsa.

But unless I'm mistaken, you need to be logged in to the account you used to download the app in the first place. If you download it using a different account, iTunes would think you're downloading it for the first time and you'll be charged accordingly.
If you can still remember your old account's username and password, log in to it, then re-download your apps. You won't be charged anything.
No matter how many accounts you have, all the apps you downloaded via your different accounts will be synced to your iPod Touch. The only "hassle" is when app updates are available because you need to be signed in to the account you used to download that app in order to update it. Other than that, you're good to go.
