Wow. While the 40-hour charge sounds great, the first thing that struck me upon seeing this thing is that a lot of people might have a problem with its aesthetics. It completely obscures the graceful curves and cool colors of the iPod mini, not to mention makes it much bulkier. Suddenly your mini becomes even bigger than the big brother iPod! I don't know if many iPod owners would be willing to accept such compromises of size and form for four times longer battery life.

it kind of reminds me of the bag with the battery you had to carry for the old cellphones :) now, if i can only hook up my ipod mini to my car battery, that should guarantee me nonstop music for life!
