Ok all i have are really preserved pieces of my favorite cartoons back in the 80's.

Here are some of my favorites:

1. Thundermawk - (Mask - red gull-wing Camaro)
2. Dragonfly - (G.I. Joe - Tiger Camo attack helicopter)
3. Skystriker - (G.I. Joe - F14 Tomcat)
4. Macross VF-1S Skull Leader Valkyrie (Macross)

Also have a Bioroid but no box on him.:D

Wow Robotech. Hehhe, Used to have the Pod gerwalk of the Macross era made by Matchbox, I currently have a Green Alpha Fighter, but it doesnt transform. But its poseable.

Incidentally, I also have some Marvel Legends (sealed) that I am selling. :)

Yeah, make sure your kids dont wreck it! That's what I did when I was a kid, I'm soooo regretting it now. Also had 2 Voltron lions, both of which I totaled too hahahah.

Never had Daimos though...

Right now I only have 2 toys:
One perfect grade EVA, and a die-cast fully atriculated/transformable Optimus Prime.

Still in good condition, with the original individual boxes. For display only. I still have a few Matchboxes (those made in England ones). My favorite is the scale replica of the King Tiger Tank and the Sherman tank. Solid metal. :cheers:

i have a lot of star wars action figures (90% from episode 4,5 & 6) from original movie series & a few from the episode 1 & 2... i guess nawalan ako ng gana ng nakita ko yong episode 1.... i do have a list of what i have (for sure its already more than 100 +++) and its all in a "big box" back home with my other toys... they are all sealed most in mint condition... if i like the character ksi i buy double tpos yon ang binubuksan ko... still thinking of what im gonna do with it....

ang nakakainis nga kung kelan ako nandito sa north america na ang daming toys saka nman ako nawalan ng gana mag collect... but dont get me wrong i still love my collection. siguro its a matter of priorities in life lng lately..

FYI: Soul of Chogokin Bandai is going to release a die cast metal (next year) of VOLTES V... SOC is famous for its line of superrobots including MAzinger Z, GFreat Mazinger, Grendizer, Boss Borot, The angels, EVA units, Combattler, etc.

These toys are really nice! :)

I have the complete Snoopy Goes Around the World collection (from McDo happy meal), and Simpsons (from Burger King kiddie meal). I also have Batman Forever mugs (from McDo meal in the US).

Onga pala, my Janine Melnitz (Ghostbuster) is still intact :D Pati yung Bride Barbie and Ken... with all their clothes, shoes, and accessories.

I use to have the Ghostbusters too all of them but they were toys and not collectibles, so I don't know what happened to them anymore.

i'm an mcfarlane toy collector. i have around 40+ nba models around 10 nhl models, a few mlb and a couple of spawn models. just a big fan of spoprts i must say. but i also collect movie figures like lotr (which comes free with the lotr gift sets0, matrix bust and hell boy bust.

I envy how you are able to keep them in their packs! My daughter bangs them around and REALLY plays vrooom vrooom with them! She also has a mean Pokemon collection ;) Her dear brother, on the other hand, collects lots and lots of cards. I truly enjoy seeing their collections grow. I think it's fun.

I set all my diecasts loose, regardless of scale, make, or price. It's not a hit on the ones who keep them mint in their boxes/cards. I just prefer to be able to hold them in my hand and inspect the details whenever I want to. :)

While some still observe this practice (one to open up and one to keep sealed), I've found it's only worth it if you've got extra money to burn. I choose to just spend that extra on another collectible :)

There are really fanatics that does buy two of the same thing. Some people buy a piece, but never open the packages. Different strokes for different folks. For me I enjoy opening my purchases and displaying them.

The last car model I bought was the model of Michael Schumacher's last F1 racer, the 248 F1 (1:18). But lately, I'm into ships, specifically old ships. Mas madugo kasi, hahaha... But the fulfillment is awesome! Too bad I don't have loads of free time so it's taking forever to finish a project..

As for action figures, I know someone who buys 2 of each kind. One for playing/display and one for safekeeping. He actually stores them in containers to keep them in mint condition so their value will be higher in the future. He does the same thing for his comics! One for reading, one for collecting. :p All he's lacking is a fire-proof vault, insurance, and a 24-hour security system!

My dad used to be into scale models as well (warplanes, tanks, and ships). I was into the whole scale-model thing for a bit din, mostly jets like the Tomcat, Falcon, and Eagle (loved the F15 with fastpacks) by Hasegawa but didn't last long. I've been into diecasts for a while now. As you can see from my Flickr photos, I collect Ferrari diecasts of all scales (they blend in nicely with my other hobby - photography).

Do you have photos of your 248? I've yet to take photos of mine (I have 3 of them actually, although only one is here with me in Sydney. The other one - 66th Pole Position release is back there in Manila and the other is in the States) but hopefully, I'll get around to it soon. :)

The most jaw-dropping of them all was when an unknown bidder bid for and won a shooting model of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D (picture below), which was used in The Next Generation series and movies. The size: 78 x 59 x 14 inches. The price: $500,000.00 :p Taxes and fees not yet included... This person must have a lot of room in his house! (not to mention very deep pockets)

My problem with the new F1 season is that I don't know exactly who it is I want to root for (Kimi or Felipe). I'm leaning more towards Felipe, to be honest, but I'd like to be able to collect both cars. We'll see how it goes.

Yeah space is a premium. Right now, I've got one display shelf from Ikea that houses the cars that I want to display. The rest are shacked up in 4 balikbayan sized boxes and sitting in storage til the wife and I get a bigger place.

That's a big auction, wish I had that kind of money to burn :p

I collect die-cast airplanes in the 1:500 scale.

mine are die cast f1 cars
but it's quite small pa i have 5 pa lang mahal kasi hehehe
at medyo konti lang choices walang masyado mga teams lagi na lang mclaren,bmw, renault,
honda at ferrari

hi ask ko lang where you get your F1 die cast??? can't find much din kasi. pag over the net naman medyo pricey na sobra

in my case i put my toys in a glass cabinet to avoid dust. For other toy collectors they never remove their items from the box.

I used pressurised airspray to remove dust in hard to reach areas. You can find one on most hobby shops.

I'm still relatively new to toy collecting, but what would the reason for putting a glass of water inside the cabinet?

if you'll notice in jewelry shops they put a small glass about the size of a shot glass with water in it. they say that instead of the dust settling all around the cabinet the dust will all go to the shot glass. i've tried this and it really works. although not completely dust free but compared to the cabinet i have water and the cabinet without water the cabinet without water had more dust than the other cabinet.

I had several lego toys including techic when i was in elementary but i lost most of the pieces. I didint fully appreciated them then.

Now ive collected starwars Lego classic units. Ive the following:
ultimate edition x wing fighter
ultimate edition tie interceptor
x wing fighter
x wing with yoda's hut
millenium falcon
y wing fighter and darth vader tie fighter
regular tie fighter
AT-ST

desert speeder
ewok adventure
imperial shuttle

The problem is i built most of them once i got them. they say toys are worth more if they are mint. but where is the fun in that.

I also collect action figures. I have Kratos (God of war) Optimus Prime generation 1 w/ trailer.

I'm still saving money for the new TF action figures. :D

Anybody wants to buy R/C cars (electric and gas, Yokomo, Losi, Tamiya, HP), 1/10th scale plus Futaba FM transmitter and Airtronics M11 transmitter? However, save from eBay, there appears to be none. Any ideas?

i have the original voltes v robot collectible toy from japan. my uncle bought it during the times when it became a hit in asia. super bigat nila and you have to assemble the 5 parts together for them to 'volt-in' ...
maybe it was during the early 80's pa. i remember i was in grade one pa nun when voltes v came out and i went ga-ga watching it every friday night.

i remember pa nga i used to imagine i was jaime... the only girl in the voltes team,,, hehehe
na-memorize ko pa ang song including the japanese lyrics...grabeh!

when assembled together, abot sya ng 4 feet tall. i wish i have a picture to post here..kaya lang i left it in the philippines in my father's care. i enjoyed playing with it (with the aid of my yaya coz it's heavy for a kid my age before) esp. when i place the laser sword in voltes' hands... as i shout out "laserrrr swoooooooooorrrrddddd" .....feel na feel!

sigh... those were the days of mecha-robots!
