Nonong, would you, by any chance have the podcasts number 1 to 11 of "Tips From The Top Floor"? It's amazing how they can turn complicated and technical photography stuff into easy-to-understand podcast. Also, can you please provide a link for the Media Artist Secrets? Thanks!
Edit: I just want to confirm if this is the official blog of the Media Artist Secrets (http://www.mediaartist.com/). Is this where you get your feed?
OT: If SPIT (Gabe's group) produces a podcast, I'd be its most avid fan! The SPIT is just fantastic!

Actually DJ, I was looking for those too. Thanks Randy for the link(s). And yup, the Media Artist Secrets blog is where I get the feed(s).
On another note: for the blue and white faithful, we are now serving podcasts of the Halikinu Radio Show. http://www.halikinu.com
The first episode's podcast was a disaster. I was at the NU station recording to the Powerbook via a line from their control room. Little did I know that there was a microphone that was on in the control room, thus the conversations inside the control room were mixed with the show's feed. Not that bad, but still "listenable." The two songs from Narda were clean and great!
For this Friday's episode, I'll try a different approach. Old school: recording from a walkman to the powerbook. Anyone wanna lend me a radio shark? :D
Catch the Halikinu Radio Show every Friday 9pm at NU 107.5
Plug into Halikinu.
Lester 07-14-2005, 12:49 PM This is nothing like The Dawn and Drew Show. Definitely not safe for work, because of all the explitives, but I find it funny and, well, I'm hooked.
Keith and the Girl (http://keithandthegirl.com/)
ruthie 07-14-2005, 06:27 PM I am hooked to Wooster Collective's Podcasts. Street art is love!
vicicasas 07-14-2005, 09:34 PM I can't believe no one's mentioned Cinecast!
I find their movie reviews well thought out and intelligent - plus sometimes the hosts disagree on whether or not they liked the movie, so they actually do a good (and spoiler-free) job of sifting through both the pros and cons of recent releases. And I really enjoy their themed Top 5 lists (i.e. Top 5 nostalgia movies, sci fi movies, movies about prostitutes, Top 5 quotable movies...).
If you like movies, you really should check it out.

Well... how about "PINOYcast" (as in PODcast) or "PINOYcasting" (as in PODcasting)! What do you think, let me know how it works out ok? More power to what you're doing also, it'll be a good service for Pinoys abroad!
I haven't got an iPod yet, but w/ all the stuff I'm reading about it here (and it seems like I'm loosing out on all the good stuff already!), I guess I just got to have it asap also! :D
Lester 07-15-2005, 01:27 PM @cyberprince:
I'm one of those "kababayans". I'd love to listen to an all-Pinoy content podcast so I can get the latest info on hopefully mostly everything there. I know I can just go to Filipino websites and whatnot but a podcast would be great. Let us know when it's out.
docnap 07-23-2005, 05:13 PM Hi guys, a little OT but I can't seem to play my podcasts in iTunes. It is saved as an MP3 file, and based on the info, it contains something, but once I play it, no sound comes out. I am missing something here? BTW, I have the latest version of iTunes installed. TIA.

oliverlim1078 04-08-2009, 03:38 PM I'm hooked to the Adam Carolla podcast and Bill Simmons' BS report. The talk about everything from sports, society, TV, movies, etc. I've found myself laughing out loud while listening to them in the office. Adam Carolla is hilarious when he starts ranting. just be careful of the numerous F-bombs.

tonedeaf 08-25-2009, 11:08 PM i love podcasts! up for this thread.
so far, i like Bill Simmons' BS report. I also subscribe to Engadget and Gadget Pron (of G4TV). I'm now trying out Adam Carolla's podcast as well as that of Leo Laporte.
I'm looking for literature-based podcasts. Yung may book reviews or discussions about books etc. To balance things out.
Saka what are the good film podcasts? Movie reviews or discussions about movies in general?

empty 09-10-2010, 10:02 PM Kevin Smith fans should check out "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old". It's a new podcast with Kevin and Jason Mews. It's hilarious!!! It's full of swearing and vulgarity but that's why you like Kevin and Jason in the first place. ;)
I can't seem to download all the podcasts from the twit network though. I always get an error. This has been like this for a month now :( other podcasts work ok.
Are you using iTunes? I subscribe the same ones via iTunes and have no problems.
ddrare 09-11-2010, 02:45 AM ^yup I'm on itunes. I have no problem with podcasts NOT in the TWiT network.
lesterjune 09-11-2010, 07:37 PM ^yup I'm on itunes. I have no problem with podcasts NOT in the TWiT network.
I encountered some problems when downloading podcasts from TWiT network also. But I just tried it again and download pushes through eventually.
ddrare 09-11-2010, 09:05 PM I still can't download TWiT podcasts! I already tried reinstalling iTunes and resubscribing to the podcasts...still FAIL :(
Godfather 09-17-2010, 02:54 PM I still can't download TWiT podcasts! I already tried reinstalling iTunes and resubscribing to the podcasts...still FAIL :(
^^Up for this question. I'm having the same problem with some of my podcasts.
PART I
I don't know what Twit is, but the podcasts I'm having trouble downloading (error 31 -something) are :
Geek Beat TV
The Moth
They used to download daily episodes just fine.
Other podcasts are downloaded fine and sync to my iphone just fine:
NBC Nightly News
Larry King Live
Anderson Cooper 360
I read on the net that some say this type of error has something to do with our DSL connection being intermittent or just plain suck-y. I'm on PLDT MyDSL by the way.
PART II
Since my daily fix of podcasts are somewhat bitin, I looked for new podcasts to subscribe to:
College Humor
CNET Tech News
These two naman download to iTunes just fine... but I can't get them to transfer to my iPhone! And yes, I did check Sync ALL Podcasts in the iPhone iTunes tabs. I also tried syncing them one by one via checkbox, still to no avail.
What's going on?
I've updated to the latest iTunes and the latest iPhone firmware, but these problems still persist.
carloople 09-18-2010, 03:51 AM I always download podcasts from Ted.com :)
Godfather 09-25-2010, 04:28 PM up please

a recent new set of podcasts i've discovered (and don't shoot me for being so late at this), is the good times acoustic series
hosted by mo twister and featuring the artist previously known as the philippines' best kept secret, johnoy danao.
problem is, i can't play the video podcast on my ipod classic, so i only get to download the mp3 versions instead.

Thanks for the reco. Stitcher Radio (FREE) is great :) It's my first to hear about about this app. I checked their website and this app has received received awards already (Webby, PC Magazine's Choice, etc). It has access to great media providers like NPR, CCN, Fox News, BBC, AP, Tech Crunch, etc. Now I can listen to podcasts right away via streaming. No need to sync through iTunes.
App is also available in Android, Blackberry, and Palm Web OS.
