After importing a mixed cd, at playback in iTunes, I notice that there's a gap between the songs and doesn't sound mixed. If I uncheck "Crossfade at Playback" in preferences, the gap is more noticeable. If "Crossfade at Playback" is checked and set at "0", there is no gap, but it still doesn't sound mixed like in the original cd since there is still a slight crossfade. Also, "Gap Between Songs" is set to "none". Is there a way to make it sound like the original mixed cd at playback? I'm using iTunes 4.5 and ver. 2.2 of the iPod software. Thanks Ditoy for the help awhile ago!

From Apple Support:
If you want to remove the gap of silence that normally occurs between songs, insert the Audio CD, select two or more adjacent songs and choose Advanced > Join CD Tracks.
iTunes imports any joined songs as one track. To change back to importing the songs separately, select the joined songs and choose Advanced > Unjoin CD Tracks.
Click the Import button to add the selected songs to your library.
Hope this helps! ;)

I love this forum! Thanks!
Stupid question: I have do this before I import or I can do this for a cd I've imported already?:D
Hmmm, if I understand your post correctly, will joining adjacent songs render them into 1 long, single track?

You'll have to do it before you import the CD.

Yup, that's what's gonna happen if you follow the instructions Marvin posted. :-)

Super thank you for this tip, now I'll re-import the albums.
