You can set the time for your SMS to be sent.

Like bdays
Reminder for yourself
reminder for others
etc.

Time4SMS allows you to write SMS Messages and schedule the date/time you want them delivered.

Nice concept.

But unfortunately it doesn't work with my 1.1.4

Doesn't seem to send the message. I tried sending myself scheduled messages (5 minutes / 10minutes), never got anything.

Hope this could be fixed as it has potential.

installed version 0.6 on my 1.1.4, works great.

whats weird is, it doesnt work on my officemate's iPhone which is also running on 1.1.4.
However, his was upgraded from 1.1.1 i think, and mine is 1.1.4 OTB.

Okay this now works.

I had to Uninstall then Reinstall it again.

Sending time is not that accurate as it can be delayed by 2-4 minutes from the time you specified on the application.

Nevertheless, great application! Definitely a keeper.

this is the only feature i miss since i sold my XDA Atom. It used to have this feature and it's really useful. Just last night I was thinking of this feature because there are some to-dos such as: "send text message tomorrow, 1pm to so and so re:"

ill bookmark this page. this will be very useful come 'It's time to own an iPhone' day. :p

i've been waiting for this app for the iPhone. but i can't get it to work yet on my 1.1.4. will try the un/install route. :)

does anyone know of a possible app conflict here? TIA.

EDIT: working now.

Very useful, sayang I don't have anyone to schedule a message over.

How about to yourself (reminders, if you're busy), to others (reminders, because we sometimes tend to forget when we're busy).

haha, it would really be corny, lalo na if she found out automated lang!

Also, I don't think it's corny or half-meant simply because it's automated only, "it's the thought that really counts" like what a picture really does wherein "it's a moment frozen in time," to simply remind us of that moment (backwards though in time, since SMS in advance is forwarding into the future) of course.

So, in-effect you're technically just not able to do a particular task at a specific particular time that a text is going to be sent (but it doesn't mean that what you want to achieve or meant to happen is half-meant already by default). :slanted:

I believe the truth is what really counts, wherein the intention is what really matters in the end & not the way it's (just) executed, although at certain instances it would be a plus of course to do such things in real time.

And that's why we have the internet, chat, email, cellphone, telephone, old fashion snail mail, etc. isn't it?!

I really think that if the technology or feature is there.. just use it, otherwise it's just a shame to waste or not to use a particularly good thing that we should be taking advantage of in the first place! :o

Okay, I feel dumb.

Tried looking for Time4SMS on Installer, couldn't find it. Tried to use the url, I just got a buch of gibberish. Pretended to try cyberduck, it just quacked at me. Any steps, ala Set-up-for-dummies? Thanks!
