I just recently bought a Pioneer earphones. These are the ones that you have to clip it in yor ears. These are not earplugs though. It covers your ears. Foldable and when i auditioned the earphones. It was good. Syempre kilala naman kasi ang pioneer when it comes to entertainment. Bought it at mobile 1 for 990 pesos... Thanks...

Pocket Rocket just bought some Senns HD415s for that very purpose. It sounds pretty good and not so bad at P2,100(if i remember right).

Sennheiser hd-201's are affordable (1.5k), available at most powermac branches, and have gotten good reviews at headphone.com

If you're on a tight budget, try Creative EP-630. They are noise isolating earphones, and costs only P1300 at Electroworld. I have one and it really keeps the noise out.

I still swear by my Bose QC2 Noise Cancelling Headphones they are pricey and a little bulky but it never bother me.
This is the noise cancelling Headphones which all others are measured against.
If you travel alot especially ariplanes you would really want this.

Shure E2c user here.

If you feel comfortable using in ear plugins, this is worth its price.

Check Powermac stores.

Low Budget - Get the Senns CX300

Mid-Range Budget - Shure E2C or Bose TriPort IE

High Budget - Bose Quiet Comfort or TriPort OE

Ridiculous - you know who you are... I don't need to recommend anything, they're all good. :P

Shure E2c user here.

My only problem with E2C is you have to replace the wax cover when it gets dirty or accumulated enough wax, so its high maintenance. You have to order the wax sticker eventually.

I still love my Westone UM2(clear housing) (http://www.westone.com/content/116.html), around 2 years now with no sign of wear and tear.

Former E2C user here, the housings on mine cracked some months ago, replaced with Bose TriPort OE's IMO they sound much nicer with better overall clarity and bass response than the Shures.

i only recommend dj headphones if you're planning to buy a sennhieser but normal headphones are not worth it when your buying from sennheiser, too expensive and the sound is really not that great, it's good but not as good as the dj headphones. try altec lansing headphones instead if you're planning to buy small headphones. altecs usually cost only 600-1500 php.

Thanks but I really don't like huge earphones. And I already tried the CX500, and it's uber great!. 10x better than the stock iPod earphones. And it seems like it's worth the 3.9k and almost the same(but not the close) as the super.fi 5pro.

I'll be buying this CX500 earbuds on Saturday :).

I have tried both the shure e4c and the etymotic 6i and ended up buying the etys. I was surprised with the bass from etys and heard layers of music I've never heard before. With the the shure e4c, i had a hard time putting it in. It took me quite some time to get a good seal. Plus, it's pricey..

i currently have the ue super.fi 5pro, senn cx500/cx400/cx300, bose triport ie, jbl220 and a few others. of course the best of them all is the super.fi 5pro - very detailed, rich and engaging.
honestly i dont find the bose triport ie good enough for its price. they have good bass and mids but i find the highs too recessed. theres no sparkle. i would suggest auditioning other inears first before buying. believe me there are a lot of better options out there.

yeah.. Senn HD 201 is not really compatible with the iPhone classic.. the plug is larger so a headphone adapter is needed.. tsk.. although I still bought 1 for my MBP. :D

sabi nga ng Dr dre, one great product needs to work with another great, so yun. im sure this is debatable but ill stick with Dr. Dre. kaya nga lang medyo pricey and i think minus the coolness factor, one can get another brand with the same quality but with a friendlier price tag.:)

What's the best way of storing headphones? I've got a few in storage where the rubber part goes sticky and the leatherette flakes off. The foam gets all brittle.
Will those silica gel work?

Sounds like the problem is the area that you're storing them...too much heat etc...

Also what are you storing them in? are they made of metal?

Try other places.

Silica gel prevents moisture build up.

I just store them in it's original box. Yeah, if I don't go home at times to turn on the Aircon, my room can go up to 36degrees

Just try to cross ventilate your room...

This will not only help your headphones but every other device/item in your room...

Aside from these cans:
Sony BT50
Senn MM40
Jabra Halo

Anyone knows a wireless headphone with built-in call answer button and microphone so I
can listen to music and stop when a call comes in without having the hassle of getting the phone out from your pocket when answering a call.

I also prefer an overear for the winter season as well.

Sorry for the term, but these are just wireless headphones, a separate transmitter attached to your TV. So you can watch TV only you can hear.

They're actually wireless tv headphones.
